Teams may qualify for the MSF Baseball State Championships in one of two ways.

MSF QUALIFIERS: The 1st place and 2nd place finishers from a MSF Qualifier Tournament will be presented with an unpaid berth to the MSF State Tournament. If the 1st and/or 2nd place finisher has previously qualified, or is from outside the state, the berth(s) may be presented to the 3rd place team and then the 4th place team. Berths may not be given to a team finishing lower than 4th place. See List of Qualifiers for 2008 below.

AT-LARGE APPLICATIONS: A limited number of "At-Large" berths may be available after qualifying tournaments have been completed. These will be distributed to applicants on a first come, first served basis. Applications will not be accepted before June 16, 2008. Teams wishing to gain entry into the MSF State Championships via the At-Large process must apply using the "At-Large Application" found in the 2008 MSF Baseball Guidebook.
